Astute.Work asked me to help its client, Invest North East England, to update website copy designed to attract inward investment to the North East.
The client
Astute.Work is a management consultancy, PR and marketing agency that helps organisations to maximise their performance and manage their reputation*.
Invest North East England supports companies looking to locate to or invest in the region.
The brief
Invest North East England wanted to update the sector profiles on its website to ensure the content showcased the latest expertise, talent and opportunities in key industry sectors across the region.
The work
I refreshed website copy for five diverse sectors: digital and tech; energy; financial, professional and business services; life sciences; automotive and advanced manufacturing.
This included:
- Applying a standard style guide (comprising layout, vocabulary and tone of voice) so each sector was profiled consistently.
- Editing content from subject matter experts to make it accessible to all readers.
- Writing engaging copy to reflect the dynamic nature and exciting developments in the five key sectors.
- Carrying out final copy-editing and proofreading checks before publication.
